What we do?

• Research: The organization supports research on various issues related to history, society, culture, language, art, literature, development, economy, environment, politics and others. The Center supports young and promising scholars through fellowship, scholarship and mentoring in their research.

• Training and courses: It offers structured courses on Tamang and indigenous studies, including language training. The courses also include training on research methods, writing, leadership, and others to enhance practical skills.

• Lectures and conferences: To promote the generation and circulation of knowledge, the organization organizes regular discussions, lectures, Seminars and conferences.

• Digital resource room: The organization maintains a digital resource room to help provide access to research papers, journal articles, and books as well as visual and audio materials related to Tamang society and other indigenous peoples in Nepal and the Himalayas.

• Publications: Publications of regular bulletins, discussions and research papers are other activities the organization carries out.

• Preservation of historical documents and heritage: The organization also aims to archive historical materials, document oral history, folk tradition, indigenous knowledge and skills to help preserve the cultural heritage of the Tamang people and promote education among the youth.

उद्देश्य तथा कार्यक्रम

• अध्ययन अनुसन्धान: इतिहास, समाज, संस्कृति, भाषा, कला, साहित्य, विकास, अर्थतन्त्र, वातावरण तथा राजनीति आदिबारे प्राज्ञिक अनुसन्धान गर्ने र युवा अनुसन्धानकर्ताहरूलाई फेलोसीप, छात्रवृत्ति तथा मेन्टरीङको माध्यमबाट सहयोग पुरयाउने ।
• तालिम र शैक्षिक कार्यक्रमहरु: तामाङ तथा आदिवासी समाज संग सम्बन्धित विषयहरू तथा भाषा सिकाई, अनुसन्धान विधि, लेखन तथा नेतृत्व विकास जस्ता व्यवहारिक सीपहरू समेतमा तालिम र शैक्षिक कार्यक्रमहरु संचालन गर्ने ।
• गोष्ठी सेमिनार: समाज सम्बन्धी ज्ञान आदानप्रदानको लागि नियमित छलफल कार्यक्रम, गोष्ठी, सेमिनार आदि गर्ने ।
• डिजिटल श्रोत केन्द्र: अध्येताहरूलाई सहयोग पुरयाउन अनुसन्धानमा आधारित लेख, जर्नलका लेख, पुस्तक तथा श्रव्य, दृष्य सामाग्रीहरूमा डिजिटल उपलब्धता बढाउने ।
• प्रकाशन: बुलेटिन, पत्रिका, जर्नल, पुस्तक प्रकाशन गर्ने ।
• ऐतिहासिक दस्तावेज तथा सम्पदा संरक्षण: सांस्कृतिक सम्पदा संरक्षण र शिक्षा प्रवर्द्धनका लागि ऐतिहासिक सामाग्रीहरूको अभिलेखीकरण र संवर्द्धन, मौखिक इतिहास, लोक परम्परा, रैथाने ज्ञान प्रणाली, आदिवासी सीप, प्रविधि आदि बारेका सूचना संग्रह गर्ने ।
