Tamang Studies Fellowship

The Tamang Adhyayan Pratisthan is pleased to announce its annual Tamang Studies Fellowships. This award support research or other scholarly projects that will advance knowledge of the Tamang society and Nepal. The primary aim of the fellowship is to promote research activities to enhance understanding of Tamang history, society and culture.  Young scholars and researchers are encouraged to conduct their thesis and other research in related themes to be used for fieldwork, archival investigations or analysis under this fellowship.

Fellowship amount and duration

A total of NRs. 100,000 are available for the period of one year from July 2024 to June 2025.

Eligibility

• Nepali citizenship
• Graduates in social science or those currently planning for thesis research in any university in Nepal.
• Research on theme related to Tamang history, society, culture, economy, politics etc.
• Fellowship supported work should be conducted in Nepal.

• A completed application form.
• A research proposal (not more than two pages).

तामाङ अध्ययन फेलोशिप

तामाङ अध्ययन प्रतिष्ठान यस वर्षको तामाङ अध्ययन फेलोशिप आवेदनका लागि आह्वान गर्दछ । यस फेलोशिपले तामाङ समाज र नेपालकोबारे ज्ञान अभिवृद्धि गर्न अध्ययन तथा अनुसन्धानको काममा सहयोग गर्छ । फेलोशिपको मुख्य लक्ष्य तामाङ इतिहास, समाज, संस्कृतिबारे अनुसन्धानलाई प्रोत्साहित गर्नु हो । यस फेलोशिप फिल्ड अनुसन्धान, अभिलेखको खोजी वा उपलव्ध तथ्यहरूको विश्लेषण गर्नको निम्ति उपयोग गर्न सकिने छ । यस फेलोशिपमा युवा अनुसन्धानकर्ता वा अध्येयताहरूलाई प्रोत्साहन गरिने छ ।

फेलोशिपको समय र श्रोत

तामाङ अध्ययन फेलोशिप जुलाई २०२४ देखि जुन २०२५ सम्मको लागि कुल रू एक लाखको हुने छ ।

आवेदनकोलागि योग्यता

• नेपाली नागरिक ।
• समाज विज्ञान विषयमा स्नातक वा सो भन्दा माथि वा नेपालको कुनै पनि विश्वविद्यालयमा थेसीस अनुसन्धान गरि रहेका शोधार्थी ।
• तामाङ इतिहास, समाज, संस्कृति, आर्थिक अवस्था, वातावरण आदि विषयमा सम्बन्धित अनुसन्धान ।
• अनुसन्धान कार्य नेपालमा गरिने ।
